Corey joined the firm in 2018 as an Associate Attorney. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a law student, he interned with North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services and the UNC Center for Civil Rights and served as co-chair of the UNC Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. He received a Daniel Pollitt Fellowship and the NC State Bar's Annual Student Pro Bono Service Award. After graduating, he worked as a Clifton Everett Fellow at Legal Aid of North Carolina handling domestic violence and education law matters. Most recently, he worked in the Child and Adolescent Research and Evaluation program at RTI International. In his spare time, he volunteers with Lawyer on the Line, a pro bono project organized by the North Carolina Bar Association and Legal Aid. He lives in Durham.
